August 25, 2002 -- Leeds Festival in Leeds, England by Stephanie Rose for Buzzin magazine

Rioters clashed with police at the end of The Leeds Festival in England early Monday morning. The violence broke out after police moved in with security after two toilet blocks were burned down. Several hundred fans were estimated to be involved with the pushing and bottle throwing that police contained. One policeman suffered a broken nose.
50,000 people attended the two festival campsites at Temple Newsam, Yorkshire where the Foo Fighters, the Hives, Pulp, Ash, the Strokes, the Offspring, Guns N’ Roses, Weezer and dozens of other bands were scheduled to perform.
In an unrelated incident, a 19-year-old man was found dead in his tent.
